The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test NET) on 26th June 2011 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 78(seventy eight including ‘Bodo’ as a new subject) subjects (listed under item no. 9) at 74 (Seventy four) selected University Centres (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country.
Last date for Applying On-Line 24.04.2011
Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (2 copies) , Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) at the respective test centre opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) 02-05-2011
For JRF-
Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to their finding placement in universities/IITs/institutions. The validity period of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. However, in case the candidates who already have joined M.Phil/Ph.D., the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.

The Human Resource Development Group, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the Result of Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Joint Research Fellowship (JRF) & Eligibility for LS (NET) Examination. Today as per announcement, CSIR Results based on Joint CSIR-UGC NET Exam held on 19.12.2010 Paper-I has Published ONLINE at the main official website (www.csirhrdg.res.in) of Human Resource Development Group (CSIR).
Candidates, who had appeared the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination held on 19.12.2010 can be checked the Results (Subject wise roll number of qualified candidates) for Paper-I by visit link given as follow.
