CSIR UGC JRF-NET Exam December-2011

Notification for JRF/Lecturership exam (NET) December, 2011

CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) & NET on 18/12/2011 for which the OMR application form and bulletin will be available in the designated branches of Indian Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce from 16/08/2011 to 05/09/2011.

Application can also be submitted online in the above dates at CSIR website only.

Last date of receipt of duly completed OMR application / hard copy of Online application form, with all the enclosures to the Sr. Controller of the Examinations, Examination Unit, HRDG, CSIR complex, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi - 110012 is 09/09/2011 (16/09/2011 for the candidates from far-flung areas)

NET/JRF Exam 26 June 2011

The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test NET) on 26^th June 2011 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 78(seventy eight including ‘Bodo’ as a new subject) subjects (listed under item no. 9) at 74 (Seventy four) selected University Centres (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country.

Last date for Applying On-Line 24.04.2011

Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (2 copies) , Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) at the respective test centre opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) 02-05-2011

For JRF-

Candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to their finding placement in universities/IITs/institutions. The validity period of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. However, in case the candidates who already have joined M.Phil/Ph.D., the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.
