Applications are invited for admission to the following Distance Education Programmes for the Session 2011-12

Admission Notice

Special Features:

*All programmes approved by Joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC, making eligible for Centre/State Government Jobs.
*No Migration and Character Certificates required.
*Fees payable in easy installments.
*Allowed to pursuing regular courses simultaneously with regular courses.
*25% concession in fee to the students pursuing regular courses simultaneously.
*SC candidates of Haryana eligible for scholarship to pay token admission fee of Rs. 1000/-.
*Short answer type questions carry 50% weightage of the maximum marks in the question papers.
*30% Internal Assessment in each theory paper based on two written assignments.
*Examination Schedule is different from that of regular courses.
*Lateral Entry to MBA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), MCA, M.A. (Mass Communication).

Note: The entrance test for MBA / MCA (3 years) / MCA (5 years Integrated) will be held on 10-09-2011 (Sunday) from 2.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at the study centres offering these programmes.  However, if needed, one more tests may be conducted on 09-10-2011 & 06-11-2011 respectively.  The candidates are advised to register for the test (without any test fee) with their nearest University approved study centres, of which the list is given in prospectus, by filling Registration from given in the prospectus at Annexure (vi).  Desirous students to take direct admission may appear in the test at the centres convenient to them.

The Prospectus can be obtained from the Directorate of Distance Education, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar or from any study center approved by this University on cash payment of Rs. 400/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/BC of Haryana) on counter w.e.f. 15-06-2011 or by post on sending DD of Rs. 450/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/BC of Haryana) favouring Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar.  The prospectus / admission form can also be downloaded from the University website www.gjust.ac.in w.e.f. 13-06-2011.  The students can submit their admission form either directly to the Directorate of Distance Education or through the Study Centres, the list of which is available in prospectus.

The study centres are located in Haryana (Faridabad, Gurgaon, Karnal, Hisar, Jind, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Ambala, Kaithal, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Panchkula, Sonepat, Mahendergarh, Yamuna Nagar, Rewari, Narnaul, Jhajjar), Chandigarh, Rajasthan (Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar, Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh), Utter Pradesh (Noida, Aligarh, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Etah, Lucknow), Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee), Himachal Pradesh (Shimla, Solan), Jammu & Kashmir (Jammu), Madhya Pradesh (Rewa, Datia), Andhra Pradesh (Rajahmundri), Kerala (Kottayam, cochin).
