Haryana Government has decided to construct special kitchens in all schools to prepare mid-day meal for the students.
This was stated by haryana Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal while redressing the grievances of the people at her residence in Jhajjar on Sunday.
She said that instructions have also been issued to prepare mid-day meal at one place for the primary and upper primary schools being run in the same campus. Special care was also being taken for the personal hygiene of the cook, who cooks mid-day meal so that clean and hygienic food could be provided to the children. Facility of mid-day meal was being extended to the students up to the class VIII.
