Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced guest teachers’ honorarium hike up to 20 percent. The above decision was taken at a meeting with Haryana Guest Teachers Union Representatives at Chandigarh on Thursday. Honorarium increased will be implemented w.e.f July 1, 2010.
The meeting decided that any guest teachers on a regular appointments not be removed. B.Ed. teachers will not be replaced with newly appointed JBT Teachers. The chief minister has ordered concerned authorities about the meeting . Honorarium to guest teachers will be drawn from salary head as like before. Punjabi and Sanskrit guest lecturers who have experience of 220 teaching days, his case will be considered sympathetically. Women guest teachers giving significant relief will be a three-month maternity leave. They will also meet during the honorarium. After marriage or any other reason, women must be allowed to change the district. Guest teachers casual leave per calendar year will be the month instead so they can take as needed i.e. cacual leave more tan one with in a time.
